Adult Home Christmas Party

Ginter Park Baptist Church hosted this years Concerned Northside Churches (CNC) Christmas Party for area adult homes. Residents from about 12 adult homes came out for a night of music, food and enjoyment. One of the highlights was the Christmas pageant where residents got to dress the part of Mary, Joseph, angels, shepherds and passers by as the narrator read the Christmas story. This year, the First United Presbyterian Church provided the Christmas music to help get everyone in the Christmas spirit!   The adult home ministry is a part of the Presbyterian Men outreach ministry.

                                                     PM Clean-up Day!

Saturday, May 9, 2009 was the date PM gathered at First United for a church interior clean-up day. The men focused on moving outdated equipment and supplies and applying a fresh coat of paint to some "needy" walls. The work began at 9am and concluded around 2:30pm... thanks be to God for the men who came out to "labor for the kingdom".
